Tomorrow is Friday the
13th. It is also the official publication date for THE
BETWEEN, my debut novel.
When people ask me what it feels like, my answer is it feels like I've
just jumped of the edge of a cliff face.
This is the territory of the great unknown. Up until today,
I've written and practiced my craft, sharing work with a small circle
of friends, family, and critique partners. Now my words are
out there in the wide world. This is freeing and frightening
in equal measures.

What's
New
You mean besides my
book launch? :)
I've been busy writing a ton of guest blog posts in support of THE
BETWEEN, and links to them are all on Once
in a Blue Muse. Stay tuned for an internet
scavenger hunt where the answers to questions can only be found by
visiting those posts. I'll choose among correct answers for a chance to
win a signed trade paperback edition.
If you're local in the Boston area, my favorite local bookstore, Newtonville
Books, will be hosting a reading/signing for THE BETWEEN on
thursday, January 26th at 7 pm. Even if you can't make it, please do
consider supporting your own indi bookstore with your business.
I'm still plugging away at the yong adult ghost story I'm working on.
I'm close to the halfway mark towards finishing the first
draft.
